Extrusion Blow Moulding (EBM)
Extrusion Blow Moulding (EBM) is a widely used plastic manufacturing process ideal for producing hollow packaging such as plastic bottles and jars. In this method, melted plastic granules are extruded into a parison, which is then enclosed in a mould and inflated with air to form a seamless, durable shape.
Perfect for both large and small production runs, Extrusion Blow Moulding (EBM) ensures consistent wall thickness and design flexibility, making it a trusted choice in our sectors like food, cosmetics, and household products.
What Joh. Sieben offers:
- Materials: HDPE, rHDPE, LDPE, PP block, PP copolymer, PP highly transparent and PVC;
- Volumes: 10 – 2000 ml;
- Mould design: 2 – 12 cavities.
Single-stage Injection Stretch Blow Moulding (ISBM)
Single-stage Injection Stretch Blow Moulding (ISBM) is a high-precision manufacturing process used to create our PET bottles. The process begins with injection moulding a preform, which is then reheated, stretched lengthwise, and blown into a mould to achieve its final shape.
Ideal for producing premium packaging with excellent clarity, strength, and barrier properties, ISBM is widely used in our sectors such as cosmetics, beverages, chemical engineering products and personal care.
What Joh. Sieben offers:
- Materials: PET and rPET;
- Volumes: 25 – 500 ml;
- Mould design: 2 – 6 cavities.
